Extinguishing the service indicator lights and clock symbol.

E46: Service interval indicator can only be reset using suitable diagnostic equipment.

Excluding E46:

Switch ignition ON.

Connect LED test lamp between terminal 7 of the engine diagnostic connector and earth (see diagram).

The iagnostic connector is located adjacent to left or right-hand turret or on bulkhead.

After 12 seconds 5 green LED's will illuminate.

Switch ignition OFF.

Wait 20 seconds.

Switch ignition ON.

Connect LED test lamp between terminal 7 of the engine diagnostic connector and earth.

After 12 seconds 5 green LED's will illuminate.

Switch ignition OFF.
